Default Minor, Major & Superiour runes of holding.

As best Im aware, and ive never really realised this till now.

Runes of holding are some of the the only runes which dont come in minor, major and superiour types.

This would be a very simple and effective way of fixing storage issues.

Minor rune of holding - 10 spaces
Major rune of holding - 20 spaces
Superiour rune of holding - 30 spaces

Obviously if such things existed, the price for superiour and major would shoot up and be equilivant to those of vigar runes.

But that would be a good thing.

You wouldnt want everyone having major and superiour.

If that idea doesnt sit very well, then you could also have a storage trader who offers upgrades on storage sizes.

You would have your default size, which you pay 50g for and a set price to share.

Then the trader would offer the chance to upgrade with...

Minor, major or superiour storage.

Each obviously offering more space and being increasing prices depending on the market price.

And there are others, but i will do you the justice of giving some sort of actual reply

The real problem with storage is not that we don't have enough, its that people hang on to too much stuff that they don't need.

But I'll add another view on this, which I've posted before. If this topic gets closed, it's cool, I won't be upset.

My point is this: we have more than four characters now. Before, we had four characters share storage. Now with Factions and Nightfall, have twice that many or more. Even with the materials tab(which is a blessing), the storage box isn't big enough if you really want to have a vast array of weapons for strategy. Not just to collect, but various weaponry and types of armor to switch around. I think it's time we got more storage space. But for now if you're out of character slots, you can buy another and start a Nightfall character. By the time you reach Kamadan, you'll have the reward money to open storage there. Get the bags, runes, and beltpouch and you have a storage character made in record time.

i would also like to see an increase to our storage space but i doubt that anet will provide any upgrades to storage.

every hero u have across all toons adds 2 additional storage spaces for weapons. sifting through those heroes to find the weapons you stored is a whole different issue

im sure anet realises that a ton of players create mules for storage purposes. considering that you can buy extra character slots for 10 bucks a pop through their webstore, why would anet provide more storage space for existing toons? im sure there are people who buy extra toon slots for creating new professions but im also quite certain that a percentage of those buyers also buy them for storage purposes.

edit - take a look at all of the stuff u store and ask yourself if you really need it or not. i bet youd be surprised with what you could do without.

I was actually thinking the extra storage space would come in useless for armors and weapons.

Not drops.

Im nearly finished Elona and I already have one 15k armor set in storage. Once I finished Elona and get the 15k set from there, ill want to put my current set into storage and wear the new stuff.

Adding that up, ill have 2 sets in storage. Once that happens, im kinda stuffed.

I have keys and weapons and dyes already in storage.

I dont like keeping things inside my personal characters storage, because in the past, ive accidently sold items I wanted to the merchant.

But if we had alot more storage space on our characters and a way to say "lock this item from being sold or deleted", or we had an extra bag for protected items, it would help greatly.

extra storage is a big gripe on this and other forums. Almost everyone wants more storage. my storage isnt to bad, right now i have a bunch of mods, but i will prob sell those soon so no worries. But, i am having to carry a bunch of greens on char which eats up farming space. why do i have them? do I need them? cause i wanted them and prob not. but i am trying to collect all of the daggers for my sin. I also am collecting monk/necro things for my other fav char. i hate mules because then i have to log off log on to move things around. more storage saves time and makes the gaming experience more enjoyable. i can pop over to storage get what i need and continue gaming. If anet wants us to play then they should make it easier to do so. more storage isnt going to make god chars. its not asking to make a super nuke or something. its a place to keep our crap. How many people are collecting the many 15k armors, or green items. the rune idea was new, i havent seen that and i will say

now for more storage, why not have a dye tab like materials. a rune tab would be nice as well and now i suppose sigils. these are things that take up space that could be used by armor weapons. my sins 2nd bag is full of daggers and a bow. i have learned to adapt to not having the 2nd bag. but when i am farming to make money for a new char or to buy skills i would like to have a bit more room to do so.

Ok i am done now. thank you for the time.

for more storage.

With the Nightfall collectables having an increased value as a set, it is worth hanging onto most of the collectables. I would like to see a collectables tab for each campaign.

As the runes are not stackable, I am not sure what value a runes tab would really have. The same is true for greens etc.

Please, no more storage threads unless it is an original idea. If you are not sure if your idea is original, or even if you flat out don't know, refer to the Index of Ideas and the search function.
